Process
During the initial stages, I wanted to give meaning to the piece itself. I believe that morality and mortality are something we deal with every day, yet sometimes don’t want to face. So, I wanted it to be head-on and in front of you not to be hidden away. My first few designs didn't quite fit the original objective, so I had to improvise and go from there. With the faux texture behind me, I cruised on drawing and inking the rather bony imagery. The piece showcases two skeletons almost evaluating themselves or each other. Are they dead? Alive? Perhaps there is no death, not truly. Or maybe death is to be weighed upon in the future of our morals. Talk about it.
